MILAN – Roberto Mancini made a guest appearance on Rai3 show 'Che fuori tempo che fa' this evening.
Introduced by host Fabio Fazio as "a legend of the sport we all love", the coach was asked to comment on the birthday prank played on him yesterday by Icardi, Melo and Guarin: "They're the guys who won't be playing anymore," he joked.
Mancini then spoke about his decision to return to Inter. “I'd never have thought it," he admitted. "When you've done well before, going back is pretty risky."
And yet the Nerazzurri sit top of the league for the first time since 2010. So what is more important, playing nice football or winning? The boss replied without hesitation: "Winning."
