MILAN – Inter full-back Danilo D’Ambrosio has spoken to Premium Sport to run the rule over the Nerazzurri’s current form and speak of his satisfaction at having earned more playing time in recent weeks.
"The coach has his own way of making decisions and doesn’t take previous matches into account. After the Roma game I didn’t think I’d start at the Stadio Olimpico against Turin and only found out I was in the starting eleven in our pre-match meeting. All we need to focus on is training well – the boss makes the decisions and they must be respected," began D’Ambrosio.
"The changes in formation and the way he keeps us guessing are a big source of motivation. The coach is great at managing the group and of course the victories help you to relax in your work," continued the Nerazzurri defender.
Finally, D’Ambrosio analysed the team’s form and current standing in Serie A: "There is still massive room for improvement. That said, we’re joint-top of the table so let’s enjoy the moment too."
