APPIANO GENTILE – Inter full-back Danilo D’Ambrosio was in the Inter Channel studios today to answer questions sent in by Nerazzurri fans via social media.
First up was a look back to his performance against Roma last week: "I’ve been preparing well and I stepped up to the plate against Roma, so I’m pleased."
D’Ambrosio had found his opportunities limited before being handed a starting berth against the Giallorossi, but the Nerazzurri man was relaxed about the situation: "Winning is the key and if the team is doing well then I’m happy. You have to make sure you’re ready when your time comes, so it’s important that you work on the psychological side of things. A true professional trains like he starts every game."
Asked about his future at the club, D’Ambrosio replied: "I’m at a massive club that has won everything, but to say I’ve made it would be wrong. You need to keep fighting every day to earn the right to wear the shirt."
