STANKOVIC: "IMPORTANT GAME TONIGHT"

The Nerazzurri club manager was speaking just before kick-off in Bologna v Inter at the Stadio Renato Dall'Ara

BOLOGNA – Inter's club manager Dejan Stankovic found time to speak to television channel Mediaset Premium ahead of Bologna v Inter, the first match in Week 10 of Serie A TIM 2015/16.

"This is an important game for us tonight. We've got a strong midfield and a dangerous attack out on the pitch today, with a lot of talent and pace. There's been some changes in the team because we've got loads of games coming all at once and our squad is big enough to cope with it. We saw in Palermo that the fringe players have a key role to play."

The Nerazzurri legend then singled out some individuals: "Mauro Icardi and Stevan Jovetic are two winners. Roberto Mancini is working hard, not only with them. The strikers just need a goal, I'm convinced they'll soon start to score in bucket-loads. Geoffrey Kondogbia is a smart lad and the club believes in him. It's not easy to come into the Italian league, but he is humble and is prepared to get down to it. In the long-term, his ability will be on show for everyone to see."
