CASTEGNATO – Inter Channel managed to grab a few words with Nerazzurri coach Stefano Vecchi after his Inter U19 team picked up a 4-2 win on the road against Brescia.
"It was a tough match and we weren't able to pick up where we left off against Cesena, as we didn't play particularly well today. Nevertheless, I have to praise the boys for showing pride and spirit.
"At the end of the day, we were rewarded in the key moments of the match and we're taking home all three points. We'll think about the performance ahead of next Saturday. We were solid today and we needed to be to win the match."
Many of Vecchi's players were back in the Primavera line-up after featuring in the Luigi Berlusconi Trophy midweek. "There were a lot of guys who played against AC Milan at the San Siro, it can't have been easy for them to come back into this team."
Finally, the coach had a few words for his goalscorers today: "Federico Dimarco deserves a lot of praise because he's got great quality, Roberto Mancini thinks highly of him as well. Samuel Appiah is a lad who never stops working, we saw that last year."
