PERISIC: "WE WANTED TO WIN IT, NOW FOR BOLOGNA"

Croatian wideman talks to Inter Channel after Palermo v Inter: "Happy to fill in at the back if needed"

PALERMO – Ivan Perisic chatted to Inter Channel after scoring in the 1-1 draw against Palermo.

"It doesn't matter about scoring; winning is more important," he began. "We wanted to win and we had some decent chances but we didn't get the rub of the green when Palermo scored theirs. We have to move on from this as quickly as possible and think about Bologna now."

For a few minutes the forward slipped back into the defensive line as a makeshift centre-back. He explained: "Murillo had been sent off and Ranocchia wasn't on yet. Somebody had to fill the hole. I don't mind."

The Croat netted his second league strike of the season in Week 9: "Serie A is different to the other leagues I've played in. I have to train well and play well, doing what the coach wants me to do while learning about the Italian game."
