GUARIN DEDICATES MATCH-WINNER TO HIS CHILDREN

"It's a goal that will go down in the history of this fixture. We want to make Inter great again," said the Colombian after Inter's derby victory

MILAN – Scoring the winning goal in the derby is not something you forget easily and Fredy Guarin was aware of the significance of his 58th-minute strike tonight.

"Obviously it's a goal that will go down in the history of this massive fixture. But what matters to me is that I've repaid the coach and the team for their faith in me. We played really well tonight and showed we have big ambitions to take Inter back to the top.

"Who do I dedicate the goal to? My children, they're everything to me."

So does this result mean Inter can aim for the Scudetto? "It's a bit early for that. We've shown we've got more quality but we need to keep taking things one game at a time," the midfielder concluded.
