MILAN - Several Nerazzurri players turned out for their respective national sides yesterday. Yuto Nagatomo played the full 90 as Vahid Halilhodžić's Japan side beat Cambodia 3-0 at home as part of qualification for the 2018 World Cup.
Ivan Perisic started for Niko Kovac's Croatia away at Azerbaijan, before coming off after 83 minutes. Inter team-mate Marcelo Brozovic came on for his country on 71 minutes, replacing Luka Modric.
Andrea Ranocchia meanwhile was not selected for Italy's narrow win over Malta in Euro 2016 qualifying.
Finally, Rei Manaj played half an hour of Albania's 1-1 draw with Israel (European Under-21 championship qualifying), while Federico Dimarco featured for more than an hour of Italy's goalless draw with the Netherlands (friendly at Under-19 level).
