LECCO – Nerazzurri first-team club manager Dejan Stankovic spoke to Inter Channel ahead of the friendly against Lecco.
"I’m delighted to see so many fans here for this friendly, there’s a lot of enthusiasm around the place. The fans believe in us and so do we. We’re expecting a great season," he began.
Stankovic then said a few words about Inter’s most recent signings: "Telles and Melo have got a lot of experience between them. Felipe knows all about Inter – he’s a big character and will make his presence felt. It’s great that they can both play tonight. The club has had an excellent transfer window. Ljajic is a fantastic player with bags of talent. I’ve spoken to him and hope he can perform well and show what he can do here.
"The boss will have five or six days to work with the full squad after the international break. I have complete faith. I’ve known Mancini for the best part of 20 years and we have an excellent squad full of great players," concluded Stankovic.
