APPIANO GENTILE – There was a morning session on the agenda for Inter today after lifting the curtain on the new Serie A campaign with victory against Atalanta yesterday.

Roberto Mancini split the squad in two groups for training: recovery work for those who featured at the Meazza and an 11-a-side match on a short pitch for the remainder of the group.

Making up the numbers in today's training game were 11 academy kids: Loris Vago (striker, born, 1998), Matteo Combini (defender, 1997), Manuel Lombardoni (defender, 1998), Alessio Donnaruma (midfielder, 1998), Alessandro Sobacchi (defender, 1997), Davide Granziera (defender, 1998), Domenik Smhekal (striker, 1998), Nicolò Lizzola (striker, 1998), Niccoló Magistrali (striker, 1998) and Justice Opoku (striker, 1998).

Managing director Marco Fassone and sporting director Piero Ausilio were also at the training ground this morning.
