APPIANO GENTILE – Roberto Mancini had the Nerazzurri in at the office for a double dose of training today with the workload ratcheted up ahead of Sunday's 2015/16 Serie A opener against Atalanta.
The squad split into two groups for the morning session. As one set of players was put through their paces with Ivan Carminati's fitness programme, the other worked on tactics with Mancini.
After lunch and some downtime, the Nerazzurri headed back out onto the field. Following a warm-up and some keep-ball, the team was again divided into small groups, switching between tactical drills with Mancini and work on individual technique. The team then ended the day with some fast-paced training games in the cage and on the main pitch.
