GUANGZHOU – Mateo Kovacic spoke to Letv shortly after the final whistle had blown on Inter’s 0-3 defeat to Real Madrid: "There was a great atmosphere in here tonight with lots of people in the stadium cheering us on.
"We’re still in the preparation phase but Real Madrid put in an excellent performance. These results happen. We need to grow, we’re doing everything we can during pre-season to be ready for the start of the season," declared Kovacic.
