SHENZHEN – After playing 90 minutes in the Inter v AC Milan contest in Shenzhen, Marco Andreolli found time to say a few words. "Unfortunately we lost the match, but it's always better to lose a derby in pre-season than in a league fixture. For some guys in the team, this was their first experience at this level, they would have found it useful for sure. It's a shame that Mexes scored such a great goal.
"I'm happy with how we played in the first half. We are putting a lot of work in; pulling on the shirt always makes you feel proud and I'm thankful I got the chance to do it again. We need more playing time and we must improve how we use the ball in defence as well, this is what the coach is asking from us. We are putting in a lot of work to ensure we're at the top of our game when the matches start to matter."
