SHANGHAI – Work began in earnest only one day after the collaboration agreement between F.C. Yitao Shanghai and Inter Academy was signed to develop the project in the city.

Inter Academy technical director Marco Monti completed a detailed analysis of the young players' skill levels and met the coaching staff with the aim of developing the training strategy and choosing the educational model to pursue. A week of hard work in Shanghai was wrapped up by a demonstration training session involving the excited young Chinese players.

In September, ten coaches from China and the local technical director will spend ten days at the Centro Sportivo Giacinto Facchetti, where they will undergo a fast-track training programme. As well as attending lessons in the classroom, our Chinese friends will have the opportunity to accompany Nerazzurri youth team coaches in sessions from the Pulcini category all the way up to Primavera.

After these initial steps aimed at bringing the Chinese coaches up to standard, two staff members from Inter Academy and their coordinator Aldo Montinaro will travel to Shanghai to keep an eye on progress there. At this stage the work will see thirty Soccer Schools involved which are currently associated with Inter Academy Yitao Shanghai.
