MILAN – Sixty-eight thousand people flocked to the Allianz Arena on Saturday 11 July to welcome the 2015/16 Bayern Munich squad and pay tribute to the past glories of the Bavarian club and Inter Forever, who ran out victorious from the historic fixture.
It was an extraordinary event that managed to raise over half a million Euros for the Allianz für Kinder association, a charity that is currently supporting over 200 regional projects in aid of children in need.
"It was a great success, a fantastic match in front of a top crowd. Being here in the stunning Allianz Arena alongside so many friends was a great experience. And it’s even better to think that our initiative is going to help many children. We thank Bayern Munich for having us, it was an honour," declared Francesco Toldo.
