BRUNICO - It's Davide Santon's first summer with the Nerazzurri since 2011 and he spoke about how pre-season is the ideal opportunity to get back to work and rediscover full fitness: "We're working well albeit in rather unusual conditions for the mountains," he told Inter Channel. "It's very hot for this altitude but we're grafting nonetheless."
His mind is already on the future: "A tough pre-season is what you need to prepare for a good campaign. The tempo always has to be high during our sessions with Mancini. We need to get it done and put our foot down because the season starts soon and we need to be at our best."
Santon spoke about how the players are keen to respond following an average season: "We owe it to our fans and the club. If we all pull together we can achieve great things."
Finally, Davide had a word on the new signings: "There are a lot of new faces but there are a lot of young guys and we all get on. We'll do everything we can to make sure we're ready when called upon."
