APPIANO GENTILE – A light breeze gave the Nerazzurri some welcome relief from the summer heat this morning as they gathered at the Centro Sportivo Angelo Moratti for their last training session before leaving for Brunico.
Some initial work in the gym was followed by a series of high-intensity drills including work with and without the ball, sprints and piggy in the middle. It was a first session with the group for new signing Martin Montoya.
Roberto Mancini’s charges rounded things off with a minimatch, during which 18-year-old Portuguese midfielder Pedro Delgado impressed with a brace. Rodrigo Palacio also found the net.
