The Smile for Hope team are currently in Nepal, as they travel to remote villages to help those left isolated. The team combines effort, talent and funding. 100% of donations are invested in aid programmes, as Smile for Hope is only made up of volunteers and has no running costs.
Smile for Hope is helping those in Nepal affected by the earthquake to build safe and warm shelters while they wait for prefab structures to create solid and lasting accommodation. The team is also working to prevent the spread of disease and water pollution.
Those in need are not only given medical assistance. They are also assigned a social entrepreneur to help them rebuild their lives and learn a trade they can practise once they recover physically. Social autonomy, along with humanitarian aid, is the best tool for progress.
All of this is made possible via budgeting, planning, dispatching teams of expert volunteers and fund raising.

Smile for Hope was set up in 2012 and initially specialised in pediatric support for young cancer sufferers. Today, Smile for Hope works on the innovative principle of creating health programmes with social entrepreneurship. It is a pension fund with a board of directors, which is audited by the French government on an annual basis. 100% of the funds raised are directly invested in the social initiatives and support programmes, with no administrative taxes. Smile for Hope operates in areas overlooked by large organisations and looks after those often forgotten.
