CORTONA – The Allievi Nazionali Serie A and B beat Roma 2-1 this evening to secure first place in their Final Eight group and advance to the semi-finals.
After a goalless first half, Benoit Cauet’s side took the lead after the break through Antonini, whose tremendous curling shot left Giallorossi stopper Crisanto with no chance. Roma drew level through an unfortunate Mattiolo own-goal on 57 minutes, but the Nerazzurri dug deep and regained the lead in the 76th minute thanks to a tasty Gravillon volley.
