SPLIT - Three Nerazzurri players saw action as Croatia and Italy played out a 1-1 draw behind closed doors in Split this evening.
Mario Mandukic opened the scoring for the hosts before Antonio Candreva held his nerve to pull a Panenka and equalise from the spot. The result leaves Croatia and Italy first and second respectively in Euro 2016 qualifying Group H.
Mateo Kovacic and Marcelo Brozovic started together in Croatia's midfield, with Kovacic then making way for Marin Leovac in stoppage time.
Andrea Ranocchia came on for El Shaarawy in the 80th minute.
