MILAN – After the 4-0 victory a week ago, the Nerazzurri Giovanissimi Nazionali have recorded another spectacular victory, thrashing Lazio 7-0 in the return leg of the quarter finals and cruising through to the final stages of the league season.
Merola opened the floodgates after only a minute's play, then Esposito fired in a quick double (4, 8) before the No. 9 from Santa Maria Capua Vetere scored his third in the 17th minute. The show continued after half-time with Gnoukouri bagging a hat-trick (53, 72, 77).
Inter therefore progress to the Final Eight, which will be contested in Chianciano Terme from 19 June.
