PIACENZA – Inter Primavera have won the 20th Memorial Giovanni Giglio tournament after a 1-0 victory over Hellas Verona in the final. The Nerazzurri’s 19-year-old Ghanaian defender Bright Gyamfi scored the decisive goal, as indeed he did in the Viareggio Cup final against Hellas back on February 16.
Stefano Vecchi’s men had reached the final thanks to 2-1 wins over Bologna on 13 May (Camara brace) and Genoa on 19 May (Rocca and Dimarco).
