STILL TIME TO HELP CHILDREN OF NEPAL

Crisis continues in Nepal following the earthquake. Children make up more than 40% of the population

On Saturday 25 April, a devastating 7.8 magnitude earthquake struck in Nepal, killing thousands and affecting over 1.7 million people. The survivors have nothing and are relying on humanitarian aid to survive.

UNICEF is working tirelessly in Nepal to try and help the population, and won’t stop until every child is safe. The relief effort needs drinking water, rehydration salts, vitamins, food and tents to use for field hospitals and shelters. It’s a race against time and they need everyone to contribute whatever they can.

Anybody can make a difference. Simply donate on the UNICEF appeal page or via a simple phone call or text.

Until 10 May, you can donate to UNICEF and the WFP by calling or texting 45596 from an Italian phone. Donations will be €1 from mobile networks (TIM, Vodafone, WIND, 3, PosteMobile e CoopVoce)  and €2 from landlines (Telecom Italia, Fastweb, Vodafone e TWT).
