Mancini, 400 times in Italian dugouts
Inter v Chievo is Roberto Mancini's 400th game as a coach in charge of Italian clubs. Since making his bow in Perugia 2-2 Fiorentina on 11 March 2001, he has been involved in 272 Serie A matches, 51 in the Coppa Italia, 72 in European competitions and four in other tournaments, with an overall record of 211 wins, 111 draws and 77 defeats. Mancini has managed Fiorentina, Lazio and Inter.

Icardi hits 100 in Italy
Today's match will be Mauro Icardi's 100th appearance in competitive fixtures with Sampdoria and Inter, the two Italian clubs he has played for. 84 have come in Serie A, two in Serie B, three in the Coppa Italia and ten in European competitions. He made his Italian club debut in Serie B on 12 May 2012: Juve Stabia 1-2 Sampdoria. In his first 99 games, Icardi scored 43 goals.

Inter on five-game unbeaten run – longest in 2014/15
Inter haven't tasted defeat in their last five Serie A outings, registering three wins and two draws since going down 1-0 to Sampdoria at the Marassi on 22 March. This five-match unbeaten streak equals their best run in 2014/15: they previously put together two victories and three draws between Weeks 15 and 19.

One defeat in nine for Chievo
After a poor start to the season Chievo Verona have surged up the table in the second half of the campaign to ensure their Serie A status for another year with five games to spare. They have lost just one of their last nine league fixtures (0-1 at Sassuolo on Easter Saturday), racking up four wins and four draws in the other eight.

Chievo beat the drop with worst attack of all 102 professional Italian clubs
Chievo Verona have avoided relegation from Italy's top flight with five rounds left to play despite having the unenviable record of the worst attack of all 102 professional football clubs in Italy (20 in Serie A, 22 in Serie B and 60 in Lega Pro). The Gialloblu have found the net just 25 times in 33 league encounters.

Lack of firepower
Chievo Verona are the Serie A side with the fewest goalscorers in 2014/15: just eight different players. In alphabetical order, they are: Izco, Lazarevic, Maxi Lopez, Meggiorini, Paloschi, Pellissier, Radovanovic and Zukanovic.

Mancini one-up on Maran
Roberto Mancini triumphed in his only previous meeting with opposite number Rolando Maran when Inter beat 2-0 Chievo in the reverse fixture.

Mancini 6-2 Chievo
This is the 13th time Roberto Mancini has taken on Chievo Verona in his coaching career and he boasts a positive record of W6 D4, L2.

Maran yet to beat the Nerazzurri
Rolando Maran is seeking his first success against Inter after managing a single draw and four defeats in his first five meetings.
