MILAN – The Expo is upon us and the opening ceremony is all set to take place in piazza Duomo this evening. Kicking things off will be Andrea Bocelli, the world-famous singer (and self-confessed Nerazzurri fan).
It’s the event the city of Milan has been waiting for, the event the whole world will be watching. And given that it’s a truly international event, with hundreds of countries set to be represented over the next six months, FC Internazionale didn’t want to miss out. We had to be there, given our name, given our history.
Hernanes will be representing us this evening, whilst Javier Zanetti will don the captain’s armband at San Siro one more time for the Match For Expo on 4 May. It’s the perfect way to get involved, to wish the city of Milan the best of luck and to form part of what promises to be an historic event.
