ZINGONIA – If they were nervous, they certainly didn’t show it. Marco Mandelli’s Giovanissimi Regionali made no mistake today as they secured a 2-2 draw at second-placed Atalanta to claim title glory.
The draw at the Stadio Bortolotti, secured thanks to a Selomon Mangiarotti strike and Edoardo Vergani’s 29th goal of the season, was the cherry on the cake of an incredible season for the young Nerazzurri, who have won 25 out of their 29 matches this term with an equally fearsome scoring record of 127 for and just 14 against.
