APPIANO GENTILE – It will be his first derby since rejoining the club in January but he is no newcomer to this fixture. A former academy product, Davide Santon has had many a tussle with the Rossoneri down the years and he knows exactly what they're about.
"I've really missed the derby. It's a huge game, it doesn't have a lot riding on it this time but bragging rights are always important. We have to go out there and win this match," he told Inter Channel the day before Inter v AC Milan.
"I've played in a fair few derbies in my time. Under Mourinho I played in three and won two. Whether it's youth or senior level, the derby always means so much.
"We approach it in excellent shape. Before the Verona game we were going through a difficult spell but we played well last week and head into it in good form. We're in good shape mentally too. If we want to try and get back into Europe, we have no option but to win it."
