APPIANO GENTILE - The squad met up this afternoon for the first session of the week ahead of the derby. The group began with a warm-up before being split into two groups. The players then underwent fitness tests, before working on a series of tactical drills and ball possession. The goalkeepers worked on their reflexes. Training ended with a short game.
Javier Zanetti, Marco Fassone, Piero Ausilio and Michael Williamson all watched training from the sidelines.
Ranocchia and Icardi did specific recovery work on the pitch. Kuzmanovic was back in training albeit separately.
Brozovic and Guarin were given the day off.
