VERONA - Juan Jesus stressed how important Inter's pre-match preparations were in achieving victory tonight and insists they must maintain that going into next Sunday's derby.
The defender told Mediaset Premium after a solid 3-0 win at Verona: "We worked well during the week. It was right to train on Easter Sunday after the match against Parma. As for next week, there's no favourite. It will be two big clubs going toe to toe and hopefully we'll see a great game. We need to make sure we prepare for it properly during the week by maintaining our focus high."
Later the defender said to Inter Channel: "We played the game we needed to tonight. We were good in defence and showed the right attitude throughout. It's a shame Brozovic and Guarin are suspended now but we'll just get on with it. Our minds are already on the derby."
