MILAN – Two wins and a draw were enough to see the Giovanissimi Nazionali through from the group stage of the 6th Memorial Stefano Gusella tournament.
After the 2-0 win over Carmagnola (thanks to a Sakho brace) and 0-0 draw against Cuneo, Stefano Bellinzaghi’s young Nerazzurri side booked their place in the last 16 of the competition thanks to a 2-1 win over Swedish outfit Stocksund (Mastromonaco and Opoku supplied the goals for Inter).
The Giovanissimi Nazionali will take on Torino in the first knockout round of the competition.
