MILAN - Italy's run in the European Under-19 championship Elite Phase has come to a close with a defeat. Alessandro Pane's youngsters lost 2-1 to Austria in their final group match.
The Azzurrini took the lead at the Wiener Neustädter Stadion through Capradossi on 50 minutes but Hermann Stadler's side hit back with goals from Kvasina (53) and Horvath (79).
The Nerazzurri's Andrea Palazzi started the game and played 81 minutes, while Federico Bonazzoli came on for Cerri on 63 minutes. The other Inter players in the squad, Giacomo Sciacca and Federico Dimarco, were unused substitutes.
