JUAN JESUS: "WORKING TO GET INTER BACK WHERE THEY BELONG"

Brazilian defender chats to Sky Sport Italia: "We need our fans' support on Saturday and I know they'll help us out"

APPIANO GENTILE – "We have to deal with these remaining games as if our lives depended on it. If we're not able to get into Europe for next season then we'll be at the club's disposal if they want to shorten the holidays."

That's how Juan Jesus began his interview with Sky Italia today, sat on the throne from the Game of Thrones, brought into the Centro Sportivo Angelo Moratti today to promote the Italian version of the successful US TV series.

On that topic, the defender was asked who Inter's Lord of Light is. "That'll be Xherdan Shaqiri, he's the one who can make things happen for us."

The Brazilian continued: "I'm the first person to get angry with myself and I'm trying to change. The break has done us good in that sense. We've been able to rest mentally and train with conviction. The club is doing everything it can to take Inter back up where it belongs next season. Too many years have passed since Inter last lifted a trophy and it's time to change that."

Parma are the next obstacle on the horizon: "We need our fans' support on Saturday and I know they'll help us out."

After that it's the derby. The 23-year-old concluded: "It's a meeting of two sides who aren't doing particularly well at the moment but the derby is always a special match."
