MILAN - Black and Blue Stripes is the name of Inter Academy Japan's partner and this has never been more fitting than this week for the 23 Japanese boys and girls who have been in Milan since Friday.

They just had time to rest up after their trip before it was straight out onto the training pitch with our coaches. Then they had the chance to meet their Nerazzurri counterparts in the afternoon. It was the perfect way to show the results of their several-year association with FC Internazionale.

On Saturday morning they finally got the chance to meet Yuto Nagatomo and the rest of the stars from the first team, who were in action in a friendly against Stefano Vecchi's Primavera. The youngsters received gifts, autographs and posed for photos.

A few hours later it was back onto the pitch for a training session at the Centro Sportivo Giacinto Facchetti for a refresher course for the Japanese coaches in attendance as well as students from Technos College, who came especially to improve their already strong footballing knowledge.

Today began with a series of friendlies against ASD Calvairate, with Inter Academy Japan recording two wins and a draw. Tomorrow will see yet another busy day in black and blue to further strengthen ties with the Inter side that is flourishing in Tokyo.
