MILAN – Inter will welcome the “Io tifo positivo – Nel segno di Candido” social initiative to San Siro on Sunday 15 March, as Inter take on Cesena. The project is carried out in collaboration with the Fondazione Cannavò and Comunità Nuova.
The initiative’s aim is to instil sporting values into young boys and girls via an educational programme designed to distance them from fan violence and racial discrimination in favour of mutual respect, loyalty and collaboration.
The project lasts for several months in the schools and sports clubs of Milan and the surrounding area and culminates with a trip to watch a match at the stadium. Over 1500 youngsters have taken part this year alone. Some of them will be at San Siro on Sunday, with a select few making their way onto the hallowed turf at half time.
