BERGAMO – One of the best players on the park, with a pass-completion rate of 94%, Davide Santon gave his take on the win over Atalanta: "This is a tough place to come. We’d not won here since 2008, so it’s a very good result for us. I’m doing well and beginning to establish myself – the boss is showing faith in me and that makes me very happy.
"We’ve made it two wins on the bounce now and we need to keep it up. Guarin had an incredible game today. We were coming off the back of a tough period, but now we’ve followed up a great performance against Palermo with another fantastic win.
"I’m getting better slowly but surely, having not played consistently for the best part of nine months. The national team? It’s always in my mind. If I play well for my club, I might get a call," declared Santon.
