INTER ACADEMY REFRESH DAMMAM PROJECT

Aldo Montinaro will fly to Saudi Arabia with Niccolai, Ratti and Zanon, whilst Marco Monti will visit several countries to evaluate new proposals

MILAN - An intense period awaits for the Inter Academy Saudi Arabia official headquarters in Dammam, with the organisation planning a series of initiatives to refresh and upgrade its programme.

Instructor Valerio Candido, who's been in the country since early November 2014, will soon be joined by Roberto Niccolai (head of fitness at Inter), Andrea Ratti and Gabriele Zanon, who will lead a specialised course on goalkeeper training.

Coordinating the activities with local partners will be Aldo Montinaro, whilst technical director Marco Monti is to visit several countries to evaluate the many new collaboration proposals that have been received in recent months.

From a more general perspective, the Academies' permanent coaching strategy (which ensures there is at least one coach in every academy for the entire season) and the constant monitoring and training visits from organisational and technical staff are producing some impressive results.

The organisational efficiency of project partners has certainly improved, whilst the calibre of training and level of specialisation of local trainers and young players have made great strides forward.

Over the coming months, delegations from the USA and Japan Academies will visit Milan to take an even more active role in the Inter experience.
