MILAN – Salvatore Cerrone’s Berretti side open the weekend’s youth academy action as they welcome Bassano Virtus to the Centro Sportivo Giacinto Facchetti. Kick-off against the Veneto-based outfit is set for 14:30 on Saturday 14 February. Attention turns to the Viareggio Cup at 15:00, however, with Stefano Vecchi’s Primavera side set to take on Roma for a place in the final.
Sunday sees the turn of the Allievi and Giovanissimi sides. Benoit Cauet’s Allievi Nazionali Serie A and B have a trip to Brescia to contend with at 14:30, whilst the Allievi Nazionali Lega Pro welcome Giana Erminio to the Centro Sportivo Giacinto Facchetti.
The Giovanissimi Nazionali travel to Arezzo’s Giotto Est complex, with proceedings also set to get underway at 14:30. Half an hour later, Marco Mandelli’s Giovanissimi Regionali side host Brescia at the Centro Sportivo Enotria.
The Giovanissimi Regionali B will participate in the Torneo Carnevale di Gallipoli, which will reach its climax on Monday 16 February. As well as the young Nerazzurri, the competition will see the likes of Prato, Udinese, Napoli, Milan, Juventus, Helsinki United and Olimpic School Zenith take part.
