MANCINI: "IMPORTANT TRADITIONALLY AND FOR US NOW"

The Nerazzurri boss shared his views with Sky Italia before Juventus v Inter

TURIN – Roberto Mancini chatted briefly to Sky Italia in the build-up to this evening's meeting with Juventus. "This game is important for many reasons, besides the traditional importance placed on this fixture. It can give us a boost in confidence going into the second half of the season."

On Podolski's first couple of days at the club: "They've been very normal really. He only trained for the first time yesterday so he's not up to playing the full 90 minutes."

The coach was then asked if he really used to support Juventus as a child: "Yes, I did when I was a boy but things change. You grow up but retain the respect – you should always have respect. What about now? Interista without a doubt."
