MILAN – Graziano Bini wore the black and blue jersey of Inter for 14 seasons between 1971 and 1985, serving as captain for seven of those. It’s an admirable record of service that has transformed Bini into one of the true symbols of the Nerazzurri in the 1970s and 1980s. During his Inter career, Bini made a total of 343 appearances and scored 13 goals, winning one Scudetto (1979/80) and two Coppa Italias (1977/78 and 1981/82) in the process.
Taken in by the Nerazzurri youth academy after impressing in a trial overseen by the great Helenio Herrera, Bini made his first-team debut at the age of just 17 (Sampdoria 0-0 Inter, 7 May 1972). His career reached its peak under the stewardship of Eugenio Bersellini, as Inter won a Scudetto and two Coppa Italias under the Italian coach and came within a whisker of making the European Cup final.
F.C. Internazionale would like to wish Graziano a very happy 60th birthday!
