KOVACIC: "I'M AT A BIG CLUB"

The thoughts of the Croatian midfielder in this afternoon's media conference

APPIANO GENTILE - "We hope to perform well against Juventus. We have to give everything because that's the only chance we have of bringing home the three points." Mateo Kovacic spoke about Tuesday's crunch match in his press conference earlier.

"We're ready to face the Bianconeri, who -  along with Roma - are the best side in the division. We're preparing well and want to win. We need to be more consistent and it would be great if we could start that process on Tuesday night. Obviously games against Juventus and AC Milan are huge but every match is important and Inter need to always try and secure three points."

The Nerazzurri number 10 also spoke about Podolski: "I'm happy a player like him has joined the club. He's a strong character and wants to perform well for Inter. I don't know about any advice I can give him, if anything it'd be the other way round!".

He also addressed certain transfer rumours, beginning with Susic: "I don't know him personally but I do as a footballer. He's very good and I like him because, despite still being young, he's got talent. Either way, the club sorts out transfers."

On his future: "I'm happy at Inter, I'm at a big club and I've got everything I need. I'm really very happy here, we're close to agreeing a new deal and I'm pleased about that. Inter are a big club, we've gone through a tough spell but we're working to get back to the top."

Finally, he discussed the impact Mancini has had since taking over and his targets for the second half of the season: "The coach is very experienced. He's not been here long but he's changing a lot particularly going forward. We need to go as far as we can in the Europa League because it's an important competition. In the league we have to make up points as soon as possible to reach third spot."
