MARRAKECH – A few hours before facing Paris Saint-Germain in a friendly match at the Grand Stade in Marrakech, Jonathan and Juan Jesus spoke to Inter Channel about the team's end-of-year training camp in Morocco.
The Brazilian full-back began by expressing his relief at finally having got over the worst of his injury troubles. "After three months I'm working with my team-mates again at last. Today I'll get a taste of the match tempo against Paris Saint-Germain," he said.
The centre-back then explained: "We're knuckling down again after a brief holiday and we want to get off on the right foot. PSG are a great team and even though it's only a friendly we need to give our best so that we can get properly warmed up for Juventus game."
Jonathan was asked how he's finding working with Mancini. He repled: "It's going well. He likes to play with four across the back line but it's a set-up I've played in before. I'm slowly working my way back to my best physical shape and hopefully I'll be available for selection soon."
Finally a wish for the new year: "Here's hoping for a great 2015 for all Nerazzurri fans."
