VERONA – A few minutes before kick-off in Chievo Verona v Inter, Nerazzurri sporting director Piero Ausilio found time to say a few words to Sky Sport Italia. Ausilio started by commenting on the line-up named by Roberto Mancini: "Nagatomo? He’s shown that he can play very well on either flank."
The subject soon turned to the squad and to Mancini himself: "The team is a lot better than the table implies. The coach is very happy with the players’ approach and their willingness to work hard. It’s those ethics that we’re using to build our squad. We’ll weigh up everything during the Christmas break and decide whether we need to do anything," concluded Ausilio.
