VIGASIO – The Primavera team's last league fixture of 2014 coincided with their first defeat of the campaign as they came unstuck at Hellas Verona today.
Stefano Vecchi's lads fell behind midway through the second half to Cappelluzzo's penalty, then Salifu doubled the hosts' lead as the match was heading into stoppage time. Baldini pulled one back before the final whistle but if proved to be too little too late.
The Under-19s thus surrendered their unbeaten record but maintain top spot in Group B. There's one more match before the Christmas break and it's a biggie: Roma host the Nerazzurri for the Coppa Italia quarter-finals next Saturday.
