KIDS TAKE CENTRE STAGE BEFORE INTER V UDINESE

Before tomorrow's Serie A contest, a group of Inter Football School youngsters will have the chance to tread the hallowed San Siro turf just like their heroes

MILAN – Roberto Mancini's men won't be the first team to play at the Stadio San Siro tomorrow night. At 19:15, 90 minutes before the Nerazzurri cross the white line, four teams of youngsters born in 2003 will take part in two 7-a-side matches.

The initiative – part of the wider aim of Italian football to get more families and children back into stadiums – will enable 70 people (kids, physiotherapists and match officials) to experience the Scala del Calcio from the inside.

Afterwards they will have the chance to watch Inter v Udinese from the first tier of the Orange Stand, along with the usual youth academy representatives and 300 kids from Inter Football Schools, who will parade on the Meazza turf during the interval.

A spectacle within the main event: a celebration for the Nerazzurri academy within the festival of football that is a Serie A match in San Siro.
