UEL, JUAN JESUS: "AN HONOUR TO BE COACHED BY MANCINI"

Brazilian centre-back spoke to the press ahead of Inter's Europa League Matchday 5 clash with Dnipro

APPIANO GENTILE - Juan Jesus joined Roberto Mancini at this afternoon's news conference to field questions from journalists ahead of Inter v Dnipro.

The Brazilian defender began by commenting on the change of formation. "I felt comfortable with four at the back. We made a few mistakes but I think that's normal considering we spent the last year and a half playing with a three-man defence. We're trying to get to grips with the new system quickly so that it all comes more naturally to us."

He was asked what it's like being coached by Mancini: "He's a great coach and he was a great player too. It's an honour for me, I can learn lots from him."

Juan Jesus has racked up more minutes on the pitch than any other outfield player this season but the 23-year-old doesn't seem to be suffering from fatigue. He said: "I'm here to do my bit for the team and if the gaffer wants me to I'll be happy to play every game. My physique enables me to recover quickly."
