PRIMAVERA HELD TO 2-2 DRAW BY BRESCIA

Puscas and Baldini on the score sheet but after nine wins Stefano Vecchi's boys drop their first points of the season

1/22

SESTO SAN GIOVANNI – All good things come to an end sooner or later. Today the Primavera's nine-game winning streak was halted by Brescia as their Week 10 meeting ended two apiece.

Stefano Vecchi's table-topping side established an early lead through Puscas, the Romanian striker ramming home at the near post with a well-struck effort from the edge of the box.

The Nerazzurri were bossing the game but the visitors found an unlikely equaliser in the 22nd minute when Said pounced on a loose ball.

Five minutes later came the turning point in the game. Puscas played in Sciacca with a sweet little through ball and the midfielder was brought down by Ntow, who was subsequently sent in for an early bath. Puscas stepped up to the spot looking to celebrate his 16th league goal of the season but could only lift over the bar from 12 yards.

Inter continued to pile on the pressure in the second period, yet midway through the half it was Brescia who took the lead against the run of play when Mozzanica stabbed home from close range following a corner.

The Nerazzurri rallied after undeservedly falling behind and restored parity five minutes later thanks to Baldini, who collected Appiah's deflected cross and slotted past Andrenacci.

Vecchi's young guns set about finding a winner but it wasn't to be: Gnoukouri and Romney had late efforts thwarted by the Brescia No.1.

So Inter's 100% record comes to an end but they move up to 28 points and remain firmly in command at the top of the table. Next weekend they face a trip to Cesena.
