17 NOVEMBER, ANDREA RANOCCHIA'S ITALY DEBUT

Nerazzurri skipper's first Azzurri cap came exactly four years ago today. He has since gone on to make 17 appearances for the national side

MILAN - It was four years ago today that Andrea Ranocchia made his senior Italy debut. The friendly match against Romania, played in Klagenfurt, Germany on 17 November 2010, ended 1-1, with the towering (then) 22-year-old centre-back playing the full game.

Since then Ranocchia has gone on to feature 17 times for the Azzurri, clocking up 1,365 minutes on the pitch in the process, twice coming on as a substitute and being substituted off once. Results-wise, his record is nine wins, seven draws and one defeat.
