EURO 2016, ITALY V CROATIA: PRESS INFO

All accreditation requests for the match at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza on Sunday 16 November must be submitted by 7 November via the FIGC website

MILAN – All accreditation requests for journalists and photographers for Italy v Croatia, the UEFA European Championships 2016 Qualifier scheduled for 20:45 on Sunday 16 November at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, must be submitted by 12:00 CET on Friday 7 November 2014. This can only be done using the FIGC online electronic accreditation system, available at www.accreditations.figc.it.

Media Accreditation (Print and digital media, photographers) Accreditation requests can be made via the FIGC online accreditation system, available at www.accreditations.figc.it, once you have registered for the service.

Multiple users and freelancers Newspapers/magazines can effect multiple registration for their users by submitting a request to the FIGC Press Office (press@figc.it). Freelancers (journalists/photographers) can register as individuals by logging on to the system and submitting their request along with an assignment letter from a newspaper/magazine or a photography agency.

The same requirements, in accordance with the specified terms and conditions, apply for journalists in possession of CONI press cards. The number of photographers permitted pitch-side will be limited according to international regulations (AIPS/UEFA/FIFA convention).

Accreditation requests deadline The accreditation period will definitively end at 12:00 CET on Friday 7 November. The system does not allow for any exceptions, therefore requests that are late or submitted via fax/email will not be considered.

Access to the stadium Accreditation will grant the holder access to the stadium and media areas for the match in question, providing there is sufficient availability in the proposed areas. Accreditation will also guarantee access to official training sessions and media activities scheduled for the day before the match, subject to eventual time constraints.

The FIGC reserves the right to evaluate the legitimacy of any accreditation request received, and to withdraw accreditation at any point in the event of inappropriate behaviour or behaviour that is in violation of relevant laws or regulations.

Television or radio stations not in possession of broadcasting rights for the match Accreditation requests must be submitted to the FIGC exclusively via multiple registration, as previously indicated. Television stations will be granted accreditation for one journalist and two technicians.

The use of video cameras will only be allowed after the match for the filming of interviews with managers and/or players, providing there is sufficient availability in the proposed areas and this does not violate exclusivity agreements.

Television stations without broadcasting rights for the match may submit a request to RAI Radiotelevisione Italiana for images of the match so that they can exercise their right to report on it.

Radio stations will be granted accreditation for one journalist.

Cancelled/unused accreditation Media personnel who have submitted an accreditation request but are unable to attend the match for whatever reason are invited to communicate this to the FIGC Press Office via press@figc.it, giving as much notice as possible. Communications sent after the closure of the “Media Accreditation” box office on the day of the game will not be considered. Any no-shows will be taken into account when issuing accreditation for future events.
