XI’AN – Inter Forever’s last day in Xi’an took in both the Terracotta Army excavation sites and a visit to some of the city’s primary schools, where members of the Nerazzurri party were given an incredibly rapturous reception.
It was a chance for Inter Forever to taste the city’s past and future. From the magnificent army of statues built by the first emperor of the Qin dynasty to the new generations of a city that is growing fast, just like the rest of China.
The children of the Xi’an Dian Zi Cheng Elementary School welcomed Inter Forever with great warmth and curiosity. It was the perfect time to get the football out for a mixed game involving both children and adults.
After the visit, the day continued with a gala dinner in one of the top restaurants in Xi’an, where Inter Forever were treated to traditional Chinese cuisine of the highest order.
It was an early night for the Nerazzurri, however, as they leave for Wuhan tomorrow. For Inter Forever, a new match – a new adventure – awaits.
