INTER V ATALANTA: THE MATCH IN NUMBERS

As we await kick-off in tonight’s clash at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, let’s take a look at the statistics behind the match, courtesy of Football Data

Inter: no goals conceded at home in 268 minutes

Since the end of last season, Inter haven’t conceded a single goal at home in 268 minutes of play.  The two home matches so far this season – the 6-0 win against Stjarnan in the Europa League and the 7-0 thrashing of Sassuolo in Serie A – and the final 88 minutes of Inter’s 4-1 win over Lazio make up the impressive statistic. The last goal scored against Inter at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza was Biava’s 2nd-minute strike in that match on 10 May.

100 Serie A appearances for Andreolli

Marco Andreolli will reach the milestone of 100 Serie A appearances if he makes it onto the pitch tonight. After making his debut for Inter on 29 May 2005 in a 0-0 draw at home to Reggina, Andreolli went on to make Serie A appearances for Roma and Chievo Verona before returning to Inter in 2013.

Only one clean sheet in eight for Atalanta away

In their last eight away matches, taking into account both last season and the present campaign, Atalanta have only managed to keep a clean sheet once: a 0-1 win over Juventus on 5 May 2014. The Bergamo outfit have conceded ten goals in the other seven encounters.

200th match in Italy for Avramov

If selected, Vlada Avramov will celebrate his 200th appearance in Italian football tonight. The Serbian has manned the posts for Vicenza, Pescara, Treviso, Fiorentina, Cagliari, Torino and now Atalanta, amassing 36 appearances in Serie A, 150 in Serie B, 12 in the Coppa Italia and one in European competition.
